Things have been going well. I finally was starting to feel like myself again. I guess I shouldn’t have let my guard down because of course when you feel like you’re two steps ahead, life knocks you three steps back. I just hope my moms okay..just yesterday she said she didn’t think her dad would make it and today we get a call that he’s gone. Even though this sucks, I know I have to be strong and not let it destroy me because for the past couple months I’ve been broken and I have to do everything I can to keep myself from being shattered.

Just got home from NY. Went to go see Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with a couple of friends. It was amazing..we had really good seats in the front row & Jimmy literally held my hand for what felt like the longest at the end when he runs into the crowd. It was so cool to see how they tape the show..the studio is actually really small. The Roots were amazing!, Seth the ‘hype man’ comedian was hilarious..he kept talking shit on Philly and there were a bunch of us from Philly in the crowd but he was still so funny. Ricky Gervais and Thandie Newton were guests and in between Justin Timberlake ran on set and bear hugged Jimmy but it wasn’t taped, he had a full on beard. After the show we hit up Times Square, had dinner and did a little shopping. I picked up MACs Mineralize Blush in Gentle, its a pretty color so I’m excited to use it, the lady that worked there was really chill unlike the other times I’ve been to the MAC in TS.. Tonight was definitely an eventful night, for sure too much to write..I soooo needed this trip, I haven’t been in nyc since October and it didn’t matter that I went the day after nyfw ended..I think we might do it again next week and hopefully I’ll go next month for IMATS.

I feel like I’m getting my life back again. It feels so good to wake up on your own without an alarm clock, I feel so well rested. Off to take the last of my midterms and rest easy this weekend.

Fuuuuck, my laptop has the blue screen of death..I didn’t even know that was a thing until 5 mins ago when I googled it. All my pictures, music, documents are gone…aaaahhhh
